Last night I sat down with my husband to watch our DirectTV satellite TV. We decided to watch House with Hugh Laurie. He is a doctor who is amazing at figuring out strange illnesses. On this episode a groom becomes unable to talk right when it is time to say his vows at his wedding. House ends up trying to figure out what is wrong with him.
This show is interesting from a medical stand point, but it is also hilarious. The chemistry between all the characters is what makes the show so good. House has a best friend named Wilson, played by Robert Sean Leonard. Wilson has recently started dating his ex-wife again. He doesn’t want House to be lonely so he pays some of their coworkers to invite him out to do things.
Taub invites him to go out to dinner. House knows it is odd, but thinks he is just trying to get away from his wife. House then goes out with him, but invites the wife along. Once she arrives, he leaves and tells them he has something else to do.
Next, Thirteen invites house to visit a new lesbian bar with her. He catches on and realizes that Wilson is up to something, but still goes along with her. He enjoys himself and the do get along great.
The last to invite him out are Foreman and Chase. They take him out to sing Karaoke. He ends up having a great time with them and tells Wilson that he does realize they could be his friends. It was nice to see this side of House on this episode.
